Sunday Preview: 1. I wanted to start with some very good news...we finally closed on the refinanced mortgage this Friday. This allows us to move ahead with a number of major projects including finishing the parking lot repaving and installing a new sound system in the sanctuary. The parking lot repaving has already begun and will be completed next week. The Conklin side of the lot is patched but not yet repaved so drive slow if you enter that way and park there tomorrow. Thanks be to God for giving us the resources to finish these very important tasks. 2. So far we have about five people whove signed up for new members/inquirers class beginning on November 16th. If youd like to add your name, just let me know. 3. Tomorrow during Christian Education well talk about the last of the 9 marks of a Healthy Church...leadership. You can get a preview by following the link below: 4. Ill be preaching tomorrows sermon which will be based on 1 Corinthians 4:1-6... This is how one should regard us, as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God. Moreover, it is required of stewards that they be found faithful. But with me it is a very small thing that I should be judged by you or by any human court. In fact, I do not even judge myself. For I am not aware of anything against myself, but I am not thereby acquitted. It is the Lord who judges me. Therefore do not pronounce judgment before the time, before the Lord comes, who will bring to light the things now hidden in darkness and will disclose the purposes of the heart. Then each one will receive his commendation from God. I have applied all these things to myself and Apollos for your benefit, brothers, that you may learn by us not to go beyond what is written, that none of you may be puffed up in favor of one against another. See you tomorrow, blessings to all of you and have a wonderful Saturday
