Sunday Rant Warning: Not for the faint of heart! Why I ask, dont they dont ask us the baseball community of Aruba how we feel? We are very proud of his achievements because the real reason he made it this far is because of those that surround him, his mom, brother and uncle. His baseball family and coaches, his experiences with the national teams and the real reason he achieved all of this is because of himself and his faith in God. The truth is baseball doesnt get funded, this is an all volunteer program with a handful of people with real passion for the game. No big sponsorships, no real Government funding! The game of baseball has produced talent throughout the years because of a wonderful group of gentleman who on a yearly basis for decades have given their love of the game! My goal is to one day be considered part of that group... So that dreams can live on, one kid at a time! - Jairo Dirksen
