Sunday Recap of August 10, 2014 The Lay Organization at FOH had our very own Bonnie Edwards speak of the benefits of being a layperson. Her title was Layperson fulfilling the Will of God. The seven commissions at the local church level are: 1) membership, evangelism, discipleship, 2) christian education, 3) stewardship and finance, 4)christian social action, 5) mission and welfare, 6) public relations and 7) health. The AMEC must live the gospel outside the walls of it sanctuary to reach the unsaved. We are mandated to instruct every member to have a love for Jesus, use your spiritual gifts and have a committed prayer life. Always conduct yourselves in a Christly manner; we might be the only Jesus some folks will see!!!!
