Thus kinship can be thought of as interrelatedness of all humanity - present, past and future; but also, the kinship with life, (animals and vegetation) and kinship with the cosmos. These notions are not only ideas, but have ethical implications for guiding our actions and lifestyles. However, failing to live out these implications will not result in hellfire.--John Mayer
