Sunday Weight Training Session Weight training with Martin Joiner on a typical Sunday in the lead up to the 100 man kumite. Martin is a top bloke and a real character and this day was not only hard work but a lot of laughs too. Judd generally trains weights once a week. In the lead up to the kumite he was lifting as heavy as he could until failure, usually training only core exercises and concentrating on quick explosive movements (free squats, dead lifts, dumbell bench press, weighted chin ups etc).
