Sunday Wisdom........ Expectation is a foul word, also a foul habit that can lead us into all sorts of disappointments. I see myself as the constant optimist, normally able to see the plus in any situation, but this morning my hat is taken off to the pessimists of the world who`s low expectation of life leaves them one up on the rest of us....Disappointment hardly enters their vocabulary. Perhaps one would be better expecting the worst outcome of any situation...Then too, the feeling of getting it so wrong wouldn’t leave us feeling so low. Still, another 5 days holiday left down here in Dorset... Perhaps that screaming brat in the tent behind us will go home.....Perhaps the local bicycle thief will steal all the bikes on the site and export them ! . Perhaps now , with the last of our Grandchildren going home today (Bless them all, they have been great) It is time for Ma. And me to relax a bit................. Have a lovely 1st of September.
