Sunday Worship Prayer Heavenly Father, be with us this day as we gather to worship you in the mighty name of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ; May we through his grace, and the wisdom given by the Holy Spirit humble ourselves before your mighty hand, that you may lift us up in due time. Lord , forgive us for all that we have sinned against you in the past week. Many a time we have lost focus, putting our undivided attention on worldly things rather than your word. The devil always strives to steal our quality time with you. Lord, some within us have met up with challenges this past week, be at work , within the family and in their social life; Strengthen them Lord as they go through a difficult season. Father, we pray that you help us as we see a transformation in our spiritual growth; Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. Lord, we continue to give you all the glory in all circumstances. Amen. (Prayer based on 1Peter 5:6. & 1 Corinthians 13:12)
