Sunday afternoon Richlands Presbyterian hosted a reception in honor of my ministry here and my retirement. It was a WONDERFUL afternoon, and I am deeply thankful for the many who stopped by and said so many kind things to my loved ones and me, for the sweet remembrances, and for all the cards and gifts! I am particularly grateful to Martha Jessee, my clerk of session, and all who assisted her in making the Fellowship Hall such an inviting place to gather. For those who were unable to attend, I will deeply miss you, too, and pray that God brings us together for goodbyes and so longs. My last week unfolds with bittersweet feelings and hopeful expectations. As always, we go forward in Gods grace.
