Sunday did not go according to plan. I did something nice by changing out brake pads and rotors. Karma came back at me for the good deed and I thought I was loosening a bolt when really I was tightening it (no wonder why it seemed so tight). At that pint the head of the bolt started stripping so I switched over to the metric sockets and was able to get the bolt out after noticing instantly at that point that I had actually been tightening the bolt. I got the bolt out and Karma gave me a free bolt to replace the stripped bolt. I was tightening everything and the caliper guide pin bolt snapped in half in the guide pin. I got the other side done with no problems and when I finished, got a new guide pin and bolt to replace the one that had the broken bolt. After all this trouble with Karma, I was late to a company BBQ but luckily some coworkers saved the Apple pie I was going to eat for the pie eating contest and I was able to enjoy it in the comfort of my own home. On top of that, since I was there for the last 45 min. or so, I was able to get bloated off of a Sprite, Coke, 2 dinner rolls, and a water. I was able to also bring the entire tray of dinner rolls and butter home. At the end of the day, Karma was just giving me trouble to prove it is still there, but it all cancelled out and was pointless.
