Sunday is often Reflection Day for me, so: Things that my experiences with Facebook over the last few years have reinforced about my Friends (note that most arent revelations, but just sayin!...): --youre kind, supportive and funny...WHAT A DIFFERENCE YOU MAKE IN MY LIFE! --you seek to inspire and console...of course! ;) --youre socio-politically aware, clearly and consistently calling out stupidity and mean-spiritedness --youre frequently challenged by injustice and ignorance: I hate that, and hate that it happens more than I would anticipate. The world, good and bad, is what it is...we fight the good fight together, because we MUST. --you have MUCH BIGGER FAMILIES than mine!...family size impacts and proscribes sooooo much of life.... --some of you struggle with weight and health...much gratitude to those who are challenging me to think more carefully about the former, and how it can impact the latter. --you have considerably, positively expanded the connectedness of my dumb-little life...yes, online stuff can be versions of fantasyland and make-believe, but LOVE IS LOVE, KINDNESS IS KINDNESS, etc., whatever the medium. THANK YOU ALL. Youre all very smart, but you truly dont know what you individually and collectively mean to me.
