Sunday is our 29th anniversary. It doesnt seem like its been that long until I look at our kids and our grandkids! Katelyn Smihula, our oldest granddaughter, graduates high school in May and our newest granddaughter will only be 4 days old. There are 5 other grandbabies between them. That is when it starts to sink in that maybe Im not really a kid anymore. I mean, Ive seen and done things many can only dream of doing, and yes Ive seen and done other things I not proud of but in life stuff happens. You either learn from your faux pas, or suffer indefinitely. But I have learned: in 2013 I finally earned my Bachelors Degree, only took me 40 years after high school but I did it, and I graduated with Honors with a 3.85 GPA. So yes, maybe it takes me a little longer to learn about some things but others, I have a knack for. I learned PCs in the Air Force when many my age hate computers or are finally learning a little about them to talk with family the world over. I have taught software applications for almost 20 years and still love it. It makes my day to see others eyes light up when they realize they CAN do this! But the one thing I did right and am most proud of? I earned the love and respect (most of the time anyway) ;-) of a stupendous lady whom I cannot fathom living without. Together we can overcome any obstacle but Time. Time? Well, we just have to make the best of the time we have together.
