Sunday is the first day of Ramadan. :) Happy Ramadan, folks. I wish you all the things I am praying for; freedom, well-being, warmth, and health. This Ramadan would the first I spend without Boshkash, who usually brings me a Fanous :) Boshkash, my son. :) He is in jail for a crime he did not commit. Or may be he did commit. Loving your country, or not being able to stand still while watching security forces beat the hell out of two unarmed female students has become a crime here, you know :) His father still calls me, and the lawyers, and the rest of our mutual heartbroken friends :) This Ramadan, there will be an empty seat at the dinning table at Boshkashs. His family would lose appetite, eat so little after 12 hours of fasting, only because they know Boshkash is in a prison cell, beaten, stripped off clothes, hungry, and lonely. And we still can not change that. I hope the Generals and the Judges enjoy their first day of Ramadan, with their loved ones, whom they keep safe and sound :) You fast Ramadan as you are so pious, and you are so religious and all...and you have enough power to stay with no food or water for hours and hours, yet you dont have enough piety or strength to free the innocent. Happy Ramadan, you scumbags.
