Sunday mid-afternoon: There currently are a couple of strong cells in far southern Indiana..... Temperatures state wide at the 2PM hour range from the mid 70s to the low 80s. At minimum....partial sunshine streaking through the clouds has made this an enjoyable Mothers Day afternoon.... That sunshine will help the atmosphere get its juices fired up as the afternoon progresses. ALL but the southeastern corner of Indiana has been identified by the SPC as having a SLIGHT risk of severe thunderstorms late this afternoon and tonight. Strong winds and cloud to ground lightning are the biggest risks, along with small to moderate sized hail. Many locations have seen over .75 of rain this weekend.....more rainfall is expected over the next 5 days...... More updates coming, as needed.
