Sunday morning, and the family waits. I am not speaking to my family from Adam, I am speaking to my family from Christ – the adoption as children of God; siblings in Christ. Even if we don’t meet in the same building – WE are the church!!! The church was not founded and is not defined by any meetings in Nicaea or any other meeting of man. The church was founded on a cross and defined in the upper room where God came to free us from religious knowledge and enter into a relationship with us forever. "My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge" (Hosea 4:6b) but the knowledge is the knowledge that only comes from a relationship with God - "There is no truth or mercy or knowledge of God in the land" (Hosea 4:1b). The adopted children of God through the blood of Jesus Christ are the church. And the Lord is adding to the church daily. "Good morning Lord, you are welcome here."
