Sunday morning brings me to an open air chapel in the pines, tasked with leading a pickup choir. I have no experience or skills at that. We managed ok - it was going to be a beautiful service in these majestic tall trees no matter what we did! In addition to leading the able and willing in song, I also played a couple of my tunes, played the cedar flute and the mandolin, a little Spanish classical miniature on guitar (Lagrima), and somehow managed to get through it all with some semblance of grace. This weeks retreat is themed around gratitude and grace. I have plenty of the former; conjuring up the latter will always be a work in progress subject to some luck and periodic divine intervention. :) It is a delight to be at Ferry Beach Park Association.
