Sunday morning coming down.... No rain for a few days....so the sprinklers are on...watching our half eaten Caladiums drink up the water....theyll recover just in time for the deer to have another feast, LOL The food bowl is full, waiting for the outside cats...Jill is always first, and has taken to napping on the porch :) Jack shows up right after...his face is healing nicely...so thankful for that. He was so beat up after frantically trying to escape the trap. Momma Snoflake shows up next...she worries me as she hangs out across the street and must cross the median. Cars speed through here...using this boulevard as a short cut when early morning traffic is heavy on Wekiva Springs Road :( The shower kitties are doing well...snuggled together in the top level of the cat tree...water and food bowls EMPTY! Put fresh water in there, and filled the food bowl. Checked the litter box...its being used and no accidents on the floor...Yay! Wondering if poor little frail Cleo should get some wet food too...she really needs to gain some weight. Little no name is still a little afraid...(Im leaning towards the name Bella...I like the name...have a grand niece with that name :) pretty name for a pretty girl)...while I was in there, she climbed down and went into the carrier that is still in there. Same thing Cleo did at first, until I removed the carrier. Will do that later today...she needs the peace and quiet for now though, and maybe feels more secure in there. Bonnie, Clyde and Guernsey have followed me everywhere this morning...Bonnie begging for her milk bone when Suzy came in from outside and got hers. Shes so funny...jumping up onto the back of the chair...signaling to me that shes ready for her treat. Sheets in the dryer, and another load of towels and things in the washer. I found homes for a few things that were still sitting out from a long ago estate sale...a $2 table cloth with napkins to match... black background with Daisies on it.... A couple months ago, I ordered something from Horchows for the first time. I had a coupon, and the item was something Ive wanted for years...(a very small set of flatware with decorative red handles) and was on sale! With my first time discount, the coupon, and the fact it was on sale, well, it was insanely inexpensive. Ron and I had seen the same set at Pier One for $50 a year ago. So...I bit the bullet...trying not to think about whether I really needed it or not...or whether I should spend money on something like this...(of course I shouldnt) and I ordered it. Well, they didnt apply my coupon or my first time discount...just the sale price. So I went into on line chat and got a very nice rep...wrote to him that this had left a very bad taste in my mouth considering it was my first contact with them....he was really apologetic and said he would adjust the invoice.....imagine my surprise...they never billed me! :) :) It was still sitting out, because I really toyed with sending it back, I was so upset over the extra money I hadnt saved. Now that it was free, LOL, I found a new home for this set in an empty drawer (a rare commodity here) in an antique low boy purchased last year at a Creating Divine Order estate sale. Cant believe any of the drawers were still empty...but they were! The Daisy tablecloth and napkins found their home in another drawer in that low boy. Suzy has been shaking her head like crazy.... another ear infection....Good Grief...another vet visit...NO...so I checked on line at the Australian Pets Megastore that one of my Eagle buddies told me about. Ive been ordering from there for a few years now, with never a problem. THEY NOW HAVE OTOMAX! Its the only thing that works on both Suzy and Murphys ears, when they start shaking their heads because their ears are bothering them. It always means a trip to the vet...and over $100 just to get some of this medicine. Saved so much money getting it there and Im thrilled. Drinking my second cup of coffee...thinking about doing whatever I want to do today...even if it is something I would normally consider work :) Its going to be super hot again today...wishing it would snow, :)
