Sunday motivation! Having that little kick start is an awesome way of staying in love with your training. Sometimes the novelty wears off or you may loose interest slightly. Heres a few tips I use to keep that fire in my belly. - Treat your self - this could be buying new trainers, gym clothing or anything else that inspires you to step foot back in the gym - Download new playlists - listening to the same music every day can become monotonous - Hit up different gyms - every time I used to enter a new gym I would train with intensity like my first session ( without the 3 weeks DOMS :) - Training in a good environment is important, if you cant get on machines, weights, equipment or people are frustrating you by hogging machines or even flirting with you, making you feel uncomfortable, change your gym or go at quieter times. - Dont stick to the same food groups, get creative with food and cook till your hearts content - Find a matched training partner, that little push and motivation may keep you inspired Nothing too scientific, just basic applications that I have found to work well over the years.
