Sunday nights at the cottage are pretty wonderful but autumn Sunday nights are special. The air outside is crisp and leafy and we cant help going out on the porch and then the deck to look at stars and the moon or just take big breaths of air. The fire is burning low in the living room and that glow feels very homey. Im so thankful to have a fireplace. The cottage is tidy for the week and the pups are curled up snoozing. There are fresh clean sheets on the bed and my tea tray is laid ready to take in to bed with me for a little reading and a slow settle into sleep. Good bye to the weekend.
