Sunday was a lazy family day @ Putney Spa, the new It place to be really, where the new pool was filled, music pumping, BBQ is cranking and drinks are flowing ( coke zero for me lol ) and cricket on the tv inside:) Great day to tan and catch up with loved ones:) ahhhh the serenity;) Lunch was spaghetti with meatballs made by myself ( totes forgot to take pic so stay tuned for the next batch ) Steak, sausages and salad whipped up by my lovely sister Kezza:) Dinner was a potato bake with a twist, secret ingredient light Philadelphia cooking cheese as one of the main ingredients, along with bacon and potato, very tasty!! We also had veal schnitzel with a kale and beetroot salad with pumpkin seeds and a yummy dressing:) a medley of tomatoes and a boiled egg:) My sister was very excited she had purchased her first whisker hence the pic and was excited to be judged on Becca Bites he he:) I was told to give more notice next time and the food would be of a higher standard. Excuses excuses I say lol:) My kitchen rules may have some new contenders as the meal was pretty awesome:) I made dessert , which some described as chocolate heaven and other sookie la las said to much peanut and chocolate overload Ive never heard of such a thing lol! Amateur dessert judges!!!! We had snickers ice cream, Ben and Jerrys Phish food & magnum Choc hazelnut ice cream , Choc peanut ice magic with a peanut butter Tim tam a kit kat and whipped cream topped with flake bits, it was a little indulgent but it was my free day so bring it on I say!! Lol I am the dessert queen and I will not be judged lol!!!! I also prepared a fruit platter with cherries, strawberries, blackberries, blueberries, and raspberries to try and balance out the bad stuff, yeah right! It was yummy all the same he he I say 💋💋💋💋 for my dessert and we worked out an average of 💋💋💋 for the meal. Pricing was good with byo as the option I took and free meat tray from Clems raffle win are always welcomed:) Overall a great ambience and the spa was very impressive. I will be back lol
