Sunday we took the train from Glasgow to London. Great trip - beautiful scenery. Arrived in London - could not believe how busy it was compared to Glasgow. The train station was jammed packed - kept forgetting to walk on the left side of the sidewalks! Checked into the hotel then went out for a trip to Harrods - many floors of very high end merchandize. There is a very nice tribute to Diana and Dody at Harrods. Out for supper and called it a night! Monday we were up early for our day trip. First to Windsor castle...we arrived and oh look - shopping - nice shops even Pandora - I had to stop! Windsor Castle was lovely - we were able to tour some rooms inside however they do not allow photos inside. The Queen was there (denoted by her flag raised from one of the towers). The gardens were beautiful. Then we were off to Bath. every building in bath is constructed out of the bath stone that they formed into square blocks. In the photo featuring a curved road of condo type living quarters Nicolas Cage owns #7 on this row. Roman Baths - lots of history! On route next to Stonehenge. See the white horse far in the distance - it has been there for a long time - is made of sandstone. Our guide shared that the coach bus we were on would easily fit in its head. Arrived at Stonehenge - incredible - really made you think about how it was made On our way back to London we saw these huts in a field - they are pig huts - acres and acres of them! Tomorrow we are going on the tour of London (hop on hop off). Check in again later!
