Sunday we watched a guy unload the luggage from the plane to the carts so they could be retrieved, or, go on to the next plane. WOW!?! No wonder our luggage gets destroyed! There are huge scrapes, dents and cuts on them and hardly worth what we paid for them!! When we picked it up in Atlanta, 1 of the wheels were gone! Completely gone!! As in...ripped off... disappeared...only 3 wheels left on our luggage!?! Gone! I watched this guy throw around luggage...let luggage hit the pavement...pull & tug on it...shove & jam it...let the luggage pile on top of each other... And Ive wondered how our luggage gets soooo beat up!?! Do you ever wonder how you get sooo beat up? Beat down? Feeling like the wheels are about to fall off?! The hurt deepens. Our self esteem & self worth diminishes. The isolation & loneliness becomes worse as our heart & mind endure the wear & tear of life. Sometimes we watch it happen!?! We watch the scars accumulate. We actually watch the wheels fall off... We stay in the abusive relationship!?! We keep hitting the play button on the words said to us 5, 10, 20+ years ago...and we believe those words are truth!? We actually watch others throw around our heart!? We let it hit the pavement and watch people stomp on it, pull & tug on it, shove & jam it into a ugly box, controlled by others?! Our cuts, bruises, scrapes, hurts & pain pile on top of each other! WOW!?! No wonder we feel destroyed! We watch it happen...we even allow it to happen... There are different choices! We dont have to hit the play button! We are worthy of more...of different...of better...
