Sundays I get to go to church. I dont have to go to church, but I choose to go. It is something I look forward to all week long. I believe as a Christian I should spend time with God each day reading his word, praying, worshipping Him and on Sunday fellowship with other believers and celebrating how awesome our God is. Reality though is sometimes I have a bad week and I dont feel like celebrating. I end up going to church carrying my emotional baggage and brooding over my failures of the week, but I know I have come to the right place. For me church is a refuge where I can let the heaviness of the week fade away and worship God for being faithful even when I am not. A place where I know that I am not alone in my struggles. A place to belong.
