Sundays SEVERE WEATHER OUTLOOK has NO areas of thunderstorms forecast anywhere across the Nation for today. Sundays NATIONAL WEATHER SUMMARY UPDATE by Forecaster David Saurer: Good morning. A storm system over the Northern Plains is now moving Eastward into the Upper Great Lakes by tomorrow PM. This storm system is producing some rain and freezing rain for parts of the Northern Plains into the Upper MS Valley and Upper Great Lakes for today and through Daybreak Monday. Snowfall is possible over the Northern Plains and that will be moving into the Upper Great Lakes as well for this evening and through Monday. Areas of rain showers will develop with the storm system from the Southern sections of the Northern Plains into the Middle MS Valley through Monday PM. An upper level energy wave over the Eastern Pacific will begin to eject onshore with moisture over the Pacific Northwest and Northern California for today and lasting through the evening hours. This will then move on into the Northern Rockies by tomorrow PM. We expect rain showers over Northern California through this evening and into the Pacific Northwest for Monday. Finally, another upper level energy wave over the Southern Rockies will begin to eject Eastward into the Southeastern states by Monday. This energy will aid in triggering some light rain showers over portions of the Lower Rio Grande Valley and stretching Eastward into the Western Gulf Coast . In addition, the storm system off the Eastern Seaboard, this morning, will circle around clockwise to approach the Southeastern Coastal areas by Monday PM. Rain associated with this system will continue to impact the East Coast of Florida through tomorrow afternoon. As this area of low pressure comes close to the Southeast coast, we expect this to join an upper level energy wave moving into the Southeast to produce some light to moderate rain showers over the Southern Mid-Atlantic states to the Southeast coast by Monday PM. This is a storm system to watch very closely as this will become the rumoring NorEaster expected to impact the Eastern Seaboard for Tuesday and Wednesday, as snowfall will begin to develop over the Central Appalachians by Monday evening.
