Sunnah Reminder from a 2 year old boy: We were attending a program, “Family Night” in our local masajeed. In dinner time, our Imam, Daniel Abdullah Hernandez seated his youngest son, Ismail next to me. Ismail had rice and one piece of bread on his plate. He was having rice with a spoon. Suddenly some rice was scattered on the table. His next action surprised me. Sub-han-Allah, he stopped eating and started to pick up the rice from the table to his plate with his right hand. It reminds me one hadith, Prophet (sallallahu alayhi wa sallam) recommended not to waste a single grain of food. Maybe that single grain has the highest barakah from Allah(SWT). May Allah accept Ismail in His Deen. May Allah reward his parents for teaching him Islamic etiquettes in such early age.
