My help comes from the Creator of the universe and all that is in it.” Ps. 121 In sacred literature, mountains represent the home of the gods. When the psalmist says he (or she) is looking toward the mountain, the meaning is that there is a Presence and Power that can help us face any difficulty and move through any uncertainty. Our help comes from the Creative spirit of life that is omnipresent and with which all things are possible. When a situation seems at first to be hopeless, remember to gaze toward the mountains, to the reality that within us there is a power equal to every challenge. Prayer Treatment: Today, I lift my gaze toward the mountains. I turn toward the God-power within me and trust it to provide for my every need. And so it is.
