Sup guys, was debating to post this or not. It was my 1st attempt at wrapping a rod. Im sure I made some mistakes, so any opinions are welcomed. Im not to sure what type of rod this is, some say its a vintage Lamiglas, some say a old saber. Regardless its a 1 piece, 13.5 foot that belonged to my grandpa that he used back in the mid 70s. I have been wanting to repair it for a while and finally decided to do so. Ive even made a custom wrapping stand lmao. Anyway I wanted to keep it as original as possible so it has the original threading toward the reel seats, which I didnt dare touch, original guides that I boiled in vinegar and sanded down on the inside and most of all the original colors. The wrapping by far took the longest and all done with a bench seat and a paint can opener lmao..It has 6 coats of a clear gloss enamel, 4 polyurethane coats and has been sanded down a total of 12 times. Epoxy drying as we speak on the thread. Hope you guys enjoy. Mahalo Hanalei Lurendez for your help
