A quick P.S.- I would like to apologize to Fufu Peacu for attaching the following to her excellent, excellent photos, but I just want to clear this up real quick (for anyone whos actually reading anyway). I IMMEDIATELY got negative feedback for the previous Naruto post. I would like to emphasize again that I did not post it as a fan of the series, as I freely admit that Im not a huge fan, however I feel when a widely popular and influential series comes to an end, it should be payed at least some type of respect, especially when its a series thats been around for many years. As I stated in the aforementioned post, even One Piece payed Naruto some respect. I would also like to emphasize that I knew full well that the series has many critics as I was posting, which is understandable. But these mangaka work really hard for entertainment; they are very loyal and thankful to their fans and as such, deserve some recognition. Ill put it to you another way: I love music, especially classic rock and metal. When talking about influential rock groups, which I love to do, the Beatles always come up. But I will freely admit that I am not a fan of the Beatles and I cant tell you how many people are shocked by that, which I can understand. HOWEVER, I will always acknowledge them as a band that influenced the genre and music in general. It does not matter if you are a fan of something or not, it is the influence that thing (music, anime, art, etc.) holds and the people it affects. Like it or not, Naruto has that status by now. Its been around for a long time. Its by no means a classic, but it HAS touched peoples lives. Its by no means even CLOSE to being one of my favorite anime. First off, nothing can take Gurren Laganns #1 spot for me, but that doesnt mean Naruto doesnt hold that importance for someone else. Im not asking for acceptance or for anyone to be a fan, its simply a considerate observation is all. Basically, my personal view in a nutshell: funnyjunk/funny_pictures/4807526/Anime+fans/ Thats all I really wanted to say. Again, I apologize to Fufu Peacu for including this into what is basically HER post and If I offended anyone through the last post or this one (in some way), then I really do apologize.
