Super exciting news here! Today, for the first time since she broke her hip on April 5th, my mom walked without assistance (no cane)! It was just like in the movies when no one thinks the patient is going to walk, but then she does, all the way to the therapist, and then past the therapist a bunch of times, baby step after baby step, while her daughter hums the Rocky theme song. So, you know, like a low budget movie... but with a very lovable cast.
