Super friend of Encino Velodrome, Vikki Appel is spearheading a volunteer project to help bring some much needed funds to the track. Her note below: Fundraising Opportunity: Give Back to Encino! Eminem & Rihanna concert Thurs, Aug. 7th. We have an amazing opportunity to staff a concession stand selling beer at the Rose Bowl for the Eminem & Rihanna concert this Thurs, Aug. 7th. The Encino Velodrome will receive 8% of the stands sales, which could net the track $1,000 or more. Volunteers need to be at the Stadium at 3:30 and can expect to be there until ~9:30. However, itll be fun to hang out with your Encino family, raise much needed money for the Velodrome and listen to the concert (the stands on the concourse, you wont be able to see the show).
