Superficial Love Superficial love isnt like being superficial. Superficial love is giving your love to someone with whom you care for deeply. Yet it isnt given with all you have to give. The only thing wrong with superficial love is the one who receives it isnt getting the best of you. Sadly enough they dont really know their being cheated out of all you have. You know, only because if you ask yourself am I holding anything back and you refuse to answer even to yourself. It can sometimes be hard to know, are you truly leaving all of yourself on the table for your partner. When the deepest you have to give is given and it doesnt workout, then youll know the depths of your love. However love feels lost or even unattainable again simply because you know youve left it all on the table. Theres an emptiness inside because youve given it to that someone who may or may not know you gave it all. Then there you are left with superficial love. How can life for you and your future partner be the best it can be when youve invested all you thought you had in what you felt was the last love you would ever want or need. Cry not for loss of true and eternal love. However cry for those wishing they had what was lost and not known. Because, a once in a lifetime love could leave you with a lifetime of, superficial love.
