Supernatural...we hear that word a lot, but at Christmas it makes me give it a second look. Of course it was supernatural that Mary conceived Jesus. What was even more supernatural to me is that she knew the likelihood of what could happen to her, but carried out Gods plan in spite of it all. In that day and custom, if a woman became pregnant before marriage, she was stoned-and the fiancé was forced to throw the first stone! But...God. She knew that she knew that she knew shed heard from Him. Thats where her peace came from. When we put it in Gods hands, the peace flows, no matter what the outside circumstances look like.
