Supersized sovereign dept is likely to depress economic growth. Politicians abuse their ability to borrow just like spendthrifts with many credit cards, and often file up more bills than they can handle. Were coming at a point in which growth prospects are really taking hit. Growth could be restrained by the budget cuts necessary to narrow and reduce borrowing. The responsibility on dept crisis depends on the hands of the government.
