Supply & Sustenance Psalm 36:7-9 (ASV) How precious is thy lovingkindness, O God! And the children of men take refuge under the shadow of thy wings. They shall be abundantly satisfied with the fatness of thy house; And thou wilt make them drink of the river of thy pleasures. For with thee is the fountain of life: In thy light shall we see light. Which would you rather have…supply or sustenance? Supply speaks to the availability of resources to replace what has been used. Sustenance is that which is necessary and available as the need arises. Think of it this way, supplies become sustenance but sustenance is not meant to be stored as supply. God provided manna every day except on the last day of the week. Manna temporarily was “supply” for the sustenance of the 7th day. Sometimes He directly provides for us…sometimes He support us through us.
