Supply and Distribution Manager- Maputo Key purpose; To manage and ensure the adequacy and cost effectiveness of the procurement, storage and distribution of all core and non- core petroleum products to ensure on going availability in line with business requirements and to maintain the integrity if the company. Key responsibilities; • Procurement of petroleum products • Inventory management • Budget preparation and management • Asset management • Managing the distribution network • People management • Stakeholder engagement • Business controls • Customer service management Specific Outcomes • Continuous availability of refined products in the company depots • Continuous availability of the company imported Lubricants in the warehouse • Monthly stock counts • Quarterly audits at all depots in Mozambique • Set and controlled budget • The right product, in the right quantity, in the right place, at the right time at the best cost • Optimised utilization and maintenance of assets • Most competent and effective staff • Managed compliance of company policies and procedures • HSEQ Management and implementation • Mitigated risk • Service agreement Qualification & Experience • Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent • Minimum 4 years supply and distribution experience Knowledge • Company policies & procedures • Understanding applicable Corporate governance • Petroleum industry regulatory framework • Detailed product knowledge • Detailed knowledge of HSEQ and environmental and safety legislation • Broad knowledge of Supply & Distribution Management • Understanding the market and economic trends Skills • Negotiable skills • Basic business principles • Good presentation & communication skills • Analytical skills • Experience using SAP • Ability to work with people of different levels • Basic knowledge of finance • Above average computer literacy • Good planning skills • Strong follow-up and organizational skills • Mentoring • Disciplinary and grievance handling • Good knowledge of HR and IR legislation Attributes • Team player • Pro-active • Self- motivated, self- starter and independent • Able to work flexible hours If you are interested and qualified please forward your English CVs to eupiphania@eprecruitafrica
