Support: Constance Hoehn > I am just looking for some support! I am starting to feel some anxiety! I am 32 weeks +2 with b/g twins. This is my third pregnancy. I had a pessary inserted about two weeks ago to try to prevent more shortening. I went in for a check up yesterday to check my cervix length and my cervix almost completely thinned and my cervix was opening, so I was admitted into the hospital and put on monitor. The monitors showed I was having regular contractions, so they started giving me low does of magnesium, which didnt seem to slow them down! They then gave me a high dose and then went back to the slow dose, which did stop my labor for a bit! I am now it labor again, dilated 5cm and baby A is head down at -1. I am still getting a small dose is magnesium until 4:00 pm today, unless I start progressing more. It looks as though I am having me babies tonight! The boy is 4lbs5oz,and the girl is 4lbs2oz! I know they should be fine, but they will also have to go to the NICU and they told me they wont let them try to nurse because they are too young! I am just having a hard time adjusting to the idea and my emotions are starting to get the best of me!
