Support for a new imperfect community member we are in early stages of ADHD diagnosis of our 6yo. and Im really struggling. his condition is having beyond profound affect on our family - we live on a farm 3 hours from a specialist required to treat him, as well as 2 hours from any family or support. Ive being diagnosed as having depression as has my husband. we are struggling with family life and everything that comes with having a special needs child. his behaviour is uncontrollable and is influencing our younger child too.
