Support these kids..if you feel this is unjust...say something. Contact your elected school board members. Contact YOUR school officials. They work for you!!! Your opinions count. I m sure their phones are ringing off the wall. I know the majority of the community is supporting these kids. It doesnt matter your income bracket, your political background, your religious preference or educational level. Even thoe some may feel that your opinion doesnt matter, because of any reason mentioned above. Im telling you it does matter. And it matters greatly to these kids. Some people will say...its a life lesson for them , they will get on with their lifes...thats just a cop out!!! These kids have worked extremely hard and have earned the rights that is being taken away from them. Come on people.. it was a harmless senior prank....happens every year... now the knee jerk reaction to impose very harm punishment by one single person is ruining the final few weeks of these outstanding Calico Rock Seniors.( at least I hope its just the one person. I would be ashamed if more people were involved in setting this kind of punishment). So in saying that I would hope that the community and the entire senior class will support these kids...
