Support to IRRESISTIBLE TALENT in CHT continues: gift (education support money) was handed over to 5 students by Ms Naiching Rakhaing, Honble Principal of Ragib Rabeya College, Barkal and Mr Rasel Chakma, Honble teacher of the same college, today at The Spice restaurant in Rangamati. (Of course, I was asked by the teachers to join them in handing over the money, and I did it, albeit I was there as a member of the facilitation team :) The money has been gifted in the specific fund by big-heart individuals/orgs as a part of INSPIRE CHT initiative. Sinora di and me have been coordinating (albeit quite overloaded, because of our a range of other co commitments) the initiative. Sinora di is now in holiday in Thailand. Therefore, I had to take the lead for this time. Appreciation to Ripesh, as he has been volunteering in the initiative. Note: the same students (5 students were handed over the support money on 30 June 2014 by Ms Banchita Chakma, Honle Principal of Rangamati Govt College. ------------- # The donor/sponsors were thanked/appriciated in the gathering. # The students spoke: they said the money has been very useful to pursue their study. (They utilized the previous money: a) to purchase necessary books, b) to study relatively hard subject with house tutors. With the money given today, they will: a) pay fee for upcoming HSC exam, and b) study with house tutors. # Based on their very practical and current experience, the teachers advised the students re their study and true purpose of education.
