As you are all aware Tom won his case, but this was not plain sailing and several attempts by officers were made over a three year period to undermine toms complaint and his witnesses! The end result was WO1 Hutchesion and Major Chetty were to face disciplinary action, with Major Chiswell getting off just to protect a Brigadier from being scrutinised for his part as their role was linked. However, Tom has been informed he will not be told when, where or what happens to them. How can the public have confidence in such a system which has been exposed by Toms case and other cases for being corrupt! How can the wider Chain of Command learn by example of how not to abuse a process or its soldiers, if the powers that be want to keep it a secret! Where is the deterrent to at least prevent this happening again. To that end we would like a show of hands by just a simple like of who would be willing to send a letter to their respective MPs requesting to have Hutchesion and Major Chettys charge and punishment made public due to being in the public interest.
