Supporters of Aremo Olusegun Osoba may need to have a rethink with this Action Group of Nigeria (AGN) business. AGN will only help the PDP defeat APC by weakening the house they built without anything for ordinary AGN members later. Hon. Opeyemi Bamidele surely dealt Dr. Kayode Fayemi a heavy blow. But he also sank the boat of ALL his supporters in the process. Samson died with the Philistines ALONE. The naive man of God did not destroy his family with his religious opponents. Ogun State AGN leaders may need to look at Ekiti State and forget promises from Abuja due to paddy-paddy from there. Yes, there is a platform. But in all honesty, apart from acting to stop APC, how many LGs can AGN win? Can AGN win the gubernatorial election? How many House of Assembly seats can AGN pick? How many of the 9 House of Representatives positions can the party win? How many of the 3 Senate seats can AGN win? It is disheartning seeing some AGN leaders, who insisted they’ll sink or swim with Osoba going to the PDP event in Abeokuta today. They should have done that from the beginning. Since that did not happen from the beginning, the most honourable thing to do was a return to the house. That is the lesson of the PDP event of today for these Matagbamole elements who want to be used as canon fodders in another person’s war – those fighting among themselves in PDP are celebrating a reunion, and our own leaders are clapping.
