Supporting the victims of violence in occupied Palestine is no excuse for Muslims to engage in anti-Jewish hate - hate does not justify hate. The verse from the Quran, which says Jews, cannot be your (Muslims) friends has been taken out of context. This is a verse, revealed during the time of a war between the Muslims and the Jews of Medina. Its was limited and directed to the Jewish tribes of Medina of that time and does not mean, the Jews and Christians of the world for all time. If it was the case that Jews can not be our friends then why are we Muslims allowed to marry into them? We need a just solution between the Palestinians and Israelis with impartial nations guiding both peoples towards a peaceful future. We must be wary of being manipulated or manipulating ourselves towards hatred or violence.
