My pick of the day is this unusual duet...Shailendra was very versatile and his work shone in every genre....He wrote the romantic lyrics...His choice of words is magical.... Aaj ki raat yeh kaisi rat ke hamko neend nahi aati Meri jaan aao baitho paas ke hamko neend nahi aati Aaye yeh aaj tumhe kya ho gaya hai uff to apne dil ko samjao na Khuda ko bhi manaloon mai magar mane na rutha dil Tumhi dekho karo koi baat ke hamko neend nahi aati Meri jaan aao baitho paas ke hamko neend nahi aati aaj ki raat... Although the movie failed at the box office, Aman had beautiful scores ...SJ always tried to re-invent themselves to make their compositions innovative...They used a small orchestra for this number to keep the interest in the rendering....In some songs, they used the voices of the actors and the results were great..!
