Sure there is a lot of talk in science now about going to Mars. I am all for it as well. But NASA is putting together ideas about going to Venus first. What, you know from your science classes that Venus is uninhabitable on its surface? Well that is true, but not 30 mile up. NASA is making plans for a SKY CITY, well eventually. First there will be just huge blimp explorers, but after they prove it is possible and if there are resources on Venus that we can exploit, then building a SKY CITY would make sense. Besides, NASA says that by doing the blimp exploration of Venus first, we would develop the technologies that we would use in large scale habitation of Mars.
