‘Sure victory of Rongnai Maham’ BJP 58-Kanubari (ST) constituency, ready for bye- election on 15 Oct ITANAGAR, OCT 12 The Arunachal Pradesh Bharatiya Janata Party delegation led by the State President, Tai Tagak today met the Union Minister of State for Tourism and culture, Shripad Naik at Rajbhawan, Itanagar and extended heartiest well come on his maiden visit to the state. He was accompanied by State General Secretary, Dominic Tadar, State President, Mahila Morcha, Padmeswari Jamoh, State President, BJYM, Dugh Saha and others. In a representation to the Union Minister, the party President expressed high hope that his visit will pave the way for tapping the abundant potential of tourism Industry in the state to newer heights. “Arunachal Pradesh is a God gifted virgin, picturesque and hidden land having the vast possibility of becoming the major world tourism centre but it could not be harnessed with proper directive initiatives and remains under developed till today,” the party said in a statement. In an important brief meeting with the Union Minister, the State BJP team sought his kind intervention in this regard and exuded confidence that under the dynamic leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji, the dream Arunachal will come true. Meanwhile, veteran state BJP leader and former Chief Minister, Gegong Apang today held last minute election management meeting with the party workers at Kanubari in Longding district, which was also attended by party Candidate, Rongnai Maham, 58-Kanubari BJP Mandal President, Wangnei Tinkhatra and others. Also, Apang along with the BJP Candidate’s Election Agent, Sompha Wangsa visited the bereaved family members including Miss Mitali Tingkhatra the eldest daughter of the veteran Congress leader of the state late Newlai Tingkhatra, a former Minister and paid tribute and expressed his solidarity with the family and shared that he could not attend the funeral due to his ill-health. Later, Apang said that it is the first time that the Congress has broken the tradition of providing tickets to the members of the departed veteran Congress leaders in the state and indifference decision in 58-Kanubari differing from 03-Mukto (ST) AC in Tawang district; 12-Pakke Kesang (ST) AC in East Kameng; 24-Daporijo (ST) in Upper Subansiri; and 42-Dambuk (ST) AC in Lower Dibang Valley earlier, and said that the Congress has done injustice by depriving late Tingkhatra’s family in 58-Kanubari (ST) AC and the leadership of the ruling State Congress throwing unfounded and baseless allegations on the BJP leadership and trying to mislead the people of the Longding District and 58-Kanubari in particular is totally false. Apang also expressed satisfaction over the preparedness of the local election management committee and sounded sure victory of the party candidate Rongnai Maham.
