Surely even the most committed SNP member must find it highly suspicious both Alex and Nicola were made members of the Privy Council, the Advisers to the Queen and the shadow hand of the Cabinet, immediately after their victories; Alex in 2007 and Nicola in 2014. One could surmise this act was one of reward, or one of control. It would seem the Queen has many in her catchment from Scottish quarters, and that she has all her bases covered. Scottish members of Her Majestys Most Honourable Privy Council are Nicola Sturgeon(SNP), Alex Salmond(SNP), Michael Moore(LibDem),Jim Murphy(Lab), Malcolm Rifkind(Head of Intelligence) Jim Wallace (LibDem), Lord Abernethy(Judge), David Ogilvy(The Earl of Airlie), Danny Alexander(LibDem), Douglas Alexander(Lab), The Lord Boyd of Duncansby(Judge), Lord Brodie(Judge), Gordon Brown(Lab), The Lord Browne of Ladyton(Lab), Sir Malcolm Bruce(LibDem), The Earl of Caithness(Con), The Lord Cameron of Lochbroom(Judge), Sir Menzies Campbell(LibDem), Alistair Carmichael(LibDem), Lord Carloway(Judge), Lady Cosgrove(Judge), Lord Coulsfield(Judge), The Lord Cullen of Whitekirk(Scottish Judiciary), Alistair Darling(Muppet Show), Lord Drummond Young(Judge), Alex Fergusson(Con/Presiding Officer Scottish Parliament), the list goes on and on.
