"Surely the churning of milk bringeth forth butter, and the wringing of the nose bringeth forth blood: so the forcing of wrath bringeth forth strife. "(Proverbs 30:33 KJV) •churning •wringing •forcing. The Hebrew word for all is pressure which comes from the root word: מוץ A primitive root; to press, that is, (figuratively) to oppress:--extortioner. ...which leads me to believe that if we put pressure on someone, we are oppressing them. Strife means a contest and comes from the root word: ריב A primitive root; properly to toss, that is, grapple; mostly figuratively to wrangle, that is, hold a controversy; (by implication) to defend:--adversary, chide, complain, contend, debate, X ever, X lay wait, plead, rebuke, strive, X thoroughly. ....which leads me to believe that strife has a lot to do with defending ourselves, which Jesus never did.
