Surf Life Saving NSW has issued a dangerous surf warning for the NSW Coast from this afternoon until tomorrow evening. A long period southerly swell is expected to reach 1.8m with a swell period of up to 19 seconds. Surf Life saving said these conditions will be particularly hazardous for coastal activities such as crossing river bars by boat and rock fishing. They advise against swimming at unpatrolled locations and to stay away from rock platforms and headlands until the conditions ease tomorrow evening. Please heed this advice and stay safe.
