Surf-n-turf tonight! A tiny little Angus prime filet cooked - TopicsExpress

Surf-n-turf tonight! A tiny little Angus prime filet cooked perfectly, if I may say so, to medium rare, and a small piece of red trout pan grilled in the same pan, with the skin a little crispy (the most flavour). Together with a half bottle of Côtes du Rhône, aged perfectly from the 2010 vintage, decanted and allowed to breathe for several hours beforehand. A small bowl of appellation rice, Calasparra D.O., from Murcia, España. And, as an appetizer, a tiny hunk of appellation cheese, Pont lÉvêque D.O.P., from Normandy, a soft cheese brought to room temperature. A delicious feast for a Saturday night!
