Surgery is still on for today. We were told yesterday after the cystogram that its a possible tumor between the bladder & the colon & if thats the case there is nothing they can do. We are praying that is not the case. We know that God is the ultimate surgeon & healer! Daddy is still confused & not eating. He said food doesnt taste right anymore. Im sure with all the Dilaudid hes getting he has a metallic taste in his mouth. He did get a catheter yesterday that has allowed him to sleep for longer periods of time. Today marks 2 weeks of a hospital stay for him. Hes never been there this long before & has usually rebounded & up fishing, cutting his grass, or leading the singing by now. Of course we worry but God steps in & feels us with peace on a daily basis. When we got the news yesterday we all agreed we would not let the devil steal our day with bad news or worry about what it could be. God is still in control & we give Him all the glory. Thank you for your continuous prayers for daddy & mama. We will update as soon as surgery is done.
