Surgery went well. Preparation for surgery was a nightmare. I allowed them to do a nerve block and it wasnt needed and caused me unecessary discomfort. Wont do that again. I had some bone scraping that had to be done and 2 torn ligaments that needed repaired and the most minor was the rotator cuff. Boy I really put some damage on that shoulder and arm. Anyway, no pain. Nerve block didnt work. Havent taken that first pain pill. Just some Advil otc for a sinus headache yesterday. Wearing my sling with opposite underarm attachment they didnt tell me about until I found it in the bag today. It fits great now and stable. I cant wear the waist support. Not close enough to my body to keep from banging my arm on door frames and such. Still have a sore neck from nerve block. Made it hard to breathe while waiting for surgery. Numbed my neck face and side of my head. I bent my elbow and wiggled my fingers and squeezed a grip all the way to the operating room. Not worth the money. It all went well otherwise. Another adventure over and another to come. I hope a better one.
